Affiliate Programme Terms
These terms apply to all participants in The Investor Side affiliate programme. By sharing your referral link you agree to these terms.
1. What you are promoting
The Investor Side is an investment education platform. Membership gives access to educational content, research analysis, tools, and a learning community. You are promoting a subscription to an educational service — not an investment product, investment fund, or securities offering.
2. Prohibited claims
As an affiliate you must not, in any promotional material or communication:
- State or imply that any return, yield, or profit figure shown on the platform is guaranteed or certain to be achieved.
- Represent membership as a way to make money, earn returns, or receive investment income.
- Suggest that platform content constitutes financial advice, a buy or sell recommendation, or a personalised investment recommendation.
- Make claims about the past or future performance of any specific investment discussed on the platform.
- Impersonate The Investor Side or create materials that could be mistaken for official communications.
- Use SEC Nigeria, CBN, NGX, or any regulatory body's name or logo in a way that implies endorsement of the platform or any investment product.
3. Disclosure requirement
You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship whenever you promote The Investor Side in exchange for a commission. A disclosure such as "I earn a commission if you sign up through my link" is required. This applies to social media posts, newsletters, videos, and any other promotional channel. Failure to disclose may violate the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018 and applicable advertising standards.
4. Compliance with Nigerian law
Your promotional activity must comply with all applicable Nigerian laws, including the Investment and Securities Act (ISA), the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA), and any regulations issued by SEC Nigeria, CBN, or NITDA. You are responsible for ensuring that your own promotional content does not constitute unlicensed investment advice or misleading advertising.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your participation in the affiliate programme and withhold unpaid commissions if you breach these terms, make misleading claims, or act in a way that brings The Investor Side into disrepute or creates regulatory exposure for the platform.
6. No employment or agency relationship
Participation in the affiliate programme does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between you and The Investor Side. You are an independent promoter. You have no authority to make binding commitments on behalf of the platform.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued participation in the programme after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Check this page periodically.
